Saskatchewan Power Corp (SaskPower), a subsidiary of Crown Investments Corporation, is a vertically integrated power utility that generates, procures, transmits, and distributes electricity. It produces power from natural gas, coal, hydro, and wind sources; and procures energy from various independent power producers; and trades electricity through interconnections transmission interconnections with Manitoba, Alberta and North Dakota. SaskPower transmits electricity from generating stations to load centers such as cities, towns or large industrial or commercial customers through high voltage transmission lines; distributes power to residential users and commercial consumers through lower voltage distribution lines. The company also offers electrical and gas permits and inspections and temporary urban residential electrical services; and energy efficiency programs, power usage analysis, self-energy generation, interconnection, lighting incentives, and other services to residential and business customers. SaskPower is headquartered in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
