The client is a not-for-profit organization working to empower young people through education, skills, and employment programs across India. To strengthen vocational training outcomes, the client partnered with Ken Research to assess ITI–industry collaboration models, benchmark global vocational training practices, and identify strategies to improve skilling effectiveness and female participation.
The engagement focused on understanding how ITIs collaborate with industry stakeholders, where current training models fall short, and what governance, curriculum, and partnership interventions could improve employment readiness.

The synthesis workshop produced a single prioritised action agenda. All three workstream recommendations were adopted into the client’s FY25 commercial plan within two weeks of delivery.
