OBJECTIVE
A regional rental operator needed to understand how smallholders , medium farmers and commercial growers prioritised tractor attachments, compared local contractors with organised centres, and selected providers for land preparation, sowing and residue management.
WHAT WE DID
We ran a structured survey across six districts, quota-controlled by farm size and crop mix, capturing equipment awareness , rental frequency , acceptable lead times, channel discovery, attachment preference and provider consideration.
DELIVERED
The study produced a category preference map , district demand matrix , provider positioning territories , attachment consideration funnels and channel levers, separating immediate rental opportunities from longer-term education needs across farmer segments.
