A pan-India accommodation operator needed to understand how undergraduate students , postgraduate students , and parents compared managed residences, hostels, and private rentals, including the messages and channels shaping shortlist formation across cities.
WHAT WE DID
We ran an online survey with 820 respondents across six cities, capturing consideration sources , decision criteria , price expectations, trust signals, parental influence, tour behaviour, and preferred booking channels by student type.
DELIVERED
The engagement produced a preference map , message territories , channel-specific conversion friction list , and city-level positioning framework , clarifying how different student and parent segments evaluated alternatives beyond headline awareness scores, without attributing commercial outcomes.
