A pan-India agri-input brand needed to understand how smallholders , progressive farmers , and tenant cultivators balanced dealer recommendations, peer endorsement, product availability, and prior experience when choosing crop protection products across major cultivation zones.
WHAT WE DID
We conducted a structured survey with 1,200 farmers, stratified by farm size, crop, and region, capturing dealer influence , brand recall , purchase triggers , consideration sets, switching behaviour, and preferred information channels.
