OBJECTIVE
A pan-India hospital network needed to understand how adult medical patients , surgical patients , and caregivers selected among phone calls, messaging, patient apps, and outpatient visits after discharge, including response timing and reassurance needs.
WHAT WE DID
We ran a structured survey with 720 recently discharged respondents, stratified by hospital tier, treatment type, age, and length of stay, capturing channel preference , contact urgency , trust, digital confidence, and follow-up barriers.
DELIVERED
The work produced a channel preference map , segment framework , and contact timing matrix , alongside message territories for routine recovery, medication clarification, symptom escalation, and appointment reminders across priority patient groups.
