OBJECTIVE
A regional lender needed to compare first-time women borrowers , repeat borrowers , and informal credit users on discovery routes, lender consideration, branch trust, and response to competing agent-led , group-led , and digital referral models across rural districts.
WHAT WE DID
We ran a structured survey with 720 respondents, stratified by district, borrowing history, and livelihood type, capturing source awareness , channel trust , application effort, message recall, and stated choice among three acquisition propositions.
DELIVERED
The study produced a channel preference map , message territories , district-level consideration funnels, borrower segment profiles, and acquisition channel levers , with clear comparisons between referral, field officer, and community mobilisation routes.
