A pan-India lender needed to understand how first-time salaried borrowers , gig workers , and micro-entrepreneurs selected between branch, app, and marketplace channels when seeking unsecured personal or business credit under varying urgency, ticket size, and documentation conditions.
WHAT WE DID
We ran a structured online survey with 1,200 borrowers across metros, tier-two cities, and smaller towns, capturing channel discovery , application effort , approval confidence , promotional responsiveness, and lender consideration by borrower profile.
DELIVERED
The study produced a channel preference map , borrower trigger matrix , application friction list , and message territories showing which acquisition propositions resonated across income stability, urgency, credit experience, and geography for each target segment.
