OBJECTIVE
A regional gateway operator needed to understand how container shippers , freight forwarders and shipping agents compared its location, connectivity and service proposition against nearby terminals when allocating import and export volumes.
WHAT WE DID
We conducted an online survey with 420 respondents across three trade corridors, capturing terminal awareness , recent usage, choice triggers, switching barriers, perceived reliability and commercial value , with results weighted by cargo frequency and annual throughput band.
DELIVERED
The engagement produced a terminal preference map , competitor positioning grid, choice-driver hierarchy , corridor-level segment profiles and channel levers, allowing commercial teams to distinguish access advantages from service attributes that required sharper market communication.
