A pan-India industrial distributor needed to understand how procurement heads , plant buyers , and category managers evaluated competing vendor propositions, including bundled technical support, local inventory, credit terms, and account coverage across major manufacturing clusters.
WHAT WE DID
We ran a structured survey with 420 buyers, quota-controlled by company size, sector, and region, capturing proposition appeal , channel preference , service expectations , supplier shortlist behaviour, and reactions to alternative commercial bundles.
DELIVERED
The study produced a preference map , message territories , and channel levers , with segment-level comparisons showing which support promises, inventory models, and account-contact routes carried strongest relevance for each buyer cohort.
