CONTEXT & RELEVANCE
Why run this survey now
Most advisory providers don't lose farmer adoption purely on price. They lose engagement due to weak local relevance, delayed reports, unclear recommendations, inconsistent follow-up, none of which fully show up in satisfaction scores or dealer feedback.

OBJECTIVE
WHAT WE DID
DELIVERED
Farm Input Retail Channel Choice Study Across Rural India
Crop Nutrition Bundle Concept Testing in Western India
OBJECTIVE
A pan-India agri-input brand needed to understand how smallholders , commercial farmers , and tenant cultivators selected between local dealers, cooperatives, and digital marketplaces, including the roles of credit availability, advice quality, and product authenticity.
WHAT WE DID
We conducted a structured survey across crop belts, using quotas by farm size, crop category, and channel usage. The instrument captured purchase frequency , dealer trust , credit dependence , switching triggers, and preferred communication touchpoints.
DELIVERED
The study produced a channel preference map , farmer segment framework , switching friction list , and district-level channel levers, clarifying which service attributes, proof cues, messages, and channel contexts mattered across distinct farmer cohorts.
