It was observed that in the time period from FY’2010-FY’2015, the contributions of the unorganized sector to pesticide production declined from ~% in FY’2010 to ~% in FY’2015. The decline in proportionate share of unorganized players in the overall market production has been mainly due to increase in number of organized players as well as regulations of government in the market.
