The leading market players in the organized pesticides market include United Phosphorus Ltd, Bayer Crop science Ltd, Syngenta India Ltd., BASF India Ltd, Rallis India Ltd and PI Industries among others. It was observed that in the time period from FY’2010-FY’2015, the contributions of the unorganized sector to pesticide production declined from ~% in FY’2010 to ~% in FY’2015. The decline in proportionate share of unorganized players in the overall market production has been mainly due to increase in number of organized players as well as regulations of government in the market.

The company registered sale of INR ~ billion through sale of technical grade pesticides. In addition to this, the third largest player in the market was Rallis India Limited, which accounted for ~% of the market share in FY’2015.
